The last F Series trolley has rolled off the Stewart Golf 
Introduced in 2008 as the world's most compact remote-controlled golf trolley, it was the first with a three-part folding chassis and integrated golf bag. Its compact design allowed it to fit in some of the world's least practical cars, including the famously small Porsche 911. The technology within the F1 Lithium was pioneering when it was designed, with Stewart Golf among the first in the world to introduce a bespoke lithium-ion battery as standard and install an LCD screen on the machine, both innovations that were subsequently included by other trolley brands.
It's crown as Stewart Golf's flagship model was taken in 2014 when the company launched the groundbreaking X9 Follow, the success of which has taken even Stewart Golf by surprise.
CEO Mark Stewart said: "The F Series has been a well loved fixture in our range and it will be missed. However we are excited about the new developments that we are working on to grow our product range in the coming years."
Many customers had speculated that the F Series would be re-launched as a follow trolley, however the practicalities of installing the the new Bluetooth communications system in to the 36V F Series chassis has meant that the product is no longer viable.
Stewart Golf has retained a stock of component parts to satisfy service requirements of current F Series owners for the foreseeable future. Additionally, many components are shared with the X Series which remains in full production.
