Former Newcastle, Spurs & QPR striker 'Sir' Les Ferdinand MBE met us at the picturesque Centurion Club for 9 holes and a chat about why he decided to purchase a Stewart Golf X9 Follow. 

"I got to the stage where I didn't want to carry clubs anymore. I was coming off after 18 with my back hurting and stuff. So I spoke to (my friend) Spoony and said I was going to invest in one of these. 

"You get to a green & hit a good shot... then you can control it, it's almost like having a caddy. It gets to the next tee and you're on the green taking your putt. I tend to use (the follow mode) more on the fairways, just stick the remote control on my back pocket & it follows me. 

"I find it really easy because it just follows you and you can just talk away & you know, look quite flash!"
