Easy to use and something I never expected to own.
A really fantastic addition to my enjoyment of golf.
Arrived quickly, easy to put together and my husband absolutely loves it - showing off in front of all his friends. The only thing I would watch out for is the cover that goes over the main battery is quite flimsy plastic, so be careful not to put anything heavy on top of it. It's also REALLY heavy, so take the battery out before you transport it, as that will lighten it a bit.
Neither of those two things detract from how much he loves it, really easy to use (albeit he did smash into my legs trying to have a go in the lounge). Battery lasted really well.
And he dropped 3 shots on using it for the first time - played the best golf he's ever played.
That's all awesome to hear: so happy that you're happy. Tell him from us that he's banned from using it in the lounge though: golf course only!
The X10 follow is fantastic (nearly). The actual follow is brilliant. The speeds for me is an issue. It is too slow. The two speeds are too slow. The top speed needs to match the follow speed which I can't fault at all. I was always waiting for the X10 to catch up t me if I was in manual mode. Please help with this as if this could be sorted your product will wipe the floor with the competition....
Hi Robert, and that's very easy for to adjust yourself: you can program any speed you like into the speed buttons 1 and 2. The instructions are in the owner's manual or reach out to support@stewartgolf.com.
Received my new X10 Trolley ... love it, not having to push or pull anything is making the game physically much better for me, and will in time I'm sure improve my game. Great technology well done!

Been thinking about one of these for a good while and did a bit of looking at various options. Very happy with the purchase to date and the delivery was very speedy. They didn't pack the charger with the initial shipment but got one out to me the next day, very early so was no hold up in using the trolley.

How does the Follow system work?
Mounted on each of the rear motors, the two antennas work together to create two zones around the X10 Follow; a neutral zone and an active zone.
When the handset is inside the neutral zone (approximately 1m from the trolley), the X10 Follow will remain stationary. As the handset enters the active zone (1-3m away), the X10 Follow's electronics system will automatically & independently alter the speed of each rear motor to keep its pace. When the golfer (and therefore the handset) come to a stop, the X10 Follow will continue until the handset is back inside the neutral zone when it will also stop. The effect is that of digital elastic band, which stretches and contracts as you walk.
What is the difference between the X10 Follow and the Q Follow?
Ultimately both trolleys have been designed to enhance your experience on the course.
These are the exact differences between the two:
- Chassis: The X10 Follow as a conventional chassis with body work attached. The Q Follow has a monocoque chassis which supports the trolley and battery while providing the look.
- Follow System: Both the X10 Follow and Q Follow use the same proprietary 7th generation Stewart Golf Follow technology.
- Folded Size: Aside from being great on the course, the Q Follow is designed to be the more compact option and is therefore the smaller of the two when folded.
- App: The X10 Follow does not use the SmartPower app which the Q Follow does. To check the charge percentage of the X10 Follow, you will need to via the included charger.
- Handbuilt: Both trolleys are handbuilt within our Gloucestershire based headquarters in Great Britain.
How often do I have to charge the main and handset batteries?
We recommend that the handset and main battery are charged after you play. If you have not played for a number of weeks, then it is advisable to ‘top up’ the batteries just to be sure they are at full capacity.
If you’re not going to play for an extended period then we can advise on the best charging routine to keep your batteries in the best condition.
How do I clean it?
Most golf clubs have an air line these days, this is perfect for getting 95% of the dirt and grass off the X10. After that we recommend cleaning with a damp cloth. The only thing NOT to do is use a hose pipe or pressure washer – this can cause irreparable damage to both the motors and electronics system.
Can I use my own bag or do I need a Stewart Golf one?
The X10 is designed for use with any cart or tour bag, filled to a weight of 14kg. Using a 'top heavy' stand bag reduces the load on the front wheels, which means the steering may react faster than intended.
Can I set walking speeds?
Yes. With both the X10 Remote and X10 Follow you are able to program your own walking speeds in to the numbered buttons on the handset. There are 2 on the X10 Follow and 3 on the X10 Remote.
Of course with the X10 Follow this is less relevant as the trolley will follow at whatever walking pace you move at.
Can I use the X10 Follow without the handset?
The X10 Follow can only be operated via the handset (unless the wheels are in freewheel).
Can the X10 Follow cope on hills?
The X Series chassis has been designed with stability in mind. The machine may tip onto the integrated stabiliser, if this happens and the rear wheels lose traction then you may need to help it by pushing forwards on the handle. Bag weight and distribution of weight will make a big difference here, a light bag will not put enough weight on the front wheels and therefore it may tip easily. You will find out which hills work with your particular set up through experience.
