Our flagship model, the Q Follow, takes the Stewart Golf heritage of award-wining innovation and elevates it again with a next-generation compact Follow and Remote golf trolley.
These 'Approved' trolleys may have seen some use out on the golf course or been used as demonstration models, however they have since been fully serviced and tested to production standards by our skilled engineers, and are in a very good general condition overall.
We have very limited stock of 'Approved' trolleys, and stock numbers will be updated as/when more trolleys have been refurbished.
Our 'Approved Refurbished' trolleys are supplied with a 12-month warranty.
I broke a couple of ribs. Yes it hurt a lot. Now well on the mend thank you.
Since I retired I play golf five times a week and I carry or push a trolley when it’s hot. But not with broken ribs! I’ve never had an electric trolley before. I did my research and purchased a 36 hole Q follow. It’s a revelation.
I play at Bearwood lakes it’s not flat. The Q follow copes with all the terrain and as I’m a high handicapper it copes with the parts of the course that proper golfers never venture into!
It has taken a few rounds to get used to. But it does everything Stewartgolf claims it does and it does it very well. Ive loaded it with as many accessories as I could and they are all excellent especially the brolly holder.
The trolley folds up nicely and fits just into the frunk of my 911 and the brake callipers in red match too,
Some people have said the trolley handle flex’s too much. I understand what they mean but it has not caused me any concerns and is irrelevant when using the remote, or at low speed or in follow me mode. Which is 99.999999% of the time.
I do have a couple of niggles.
One I only have stand bags, a Vessel and a H2No and the legs don’t make for a snug fit. I will sort eventually my crafting a cradle. If you have a trolley bag this won’t affect you. Currently a well placed towel does the job.
Two, the catch to release the battery is a fiddle. I have dupuytren’s contracture in both hands so my fingers aren’t straight. To open the catch you have to put two fingers into a small opening and push the catch in about 4mm. Problem is dirt gets into the catch which stiffens the release and because the trolley moves it is difficult to get enough purchase on the catch for me to move it. I think I’ve solved it by using an air gun to ensure it is clean and then the catch. I’m not sure the catch is necessary as the weight of the battery seems enough to keep it in place. If something is necessary then perhaps a strap on top of the battery would be better.
Other thoughts
Customer service has been excellent
It’s a British product well designed and yes it costs more than a basic trolley but quality costs and lasts and replacement parts will be easy to get if necessary.
Would I recommend Absolutely YES
Thank you for taking the time to leave such a thoughtful review. We’re so sorry to hear about your ribs, but we’re very glad to know you’re on the mend and that your Approved Refurbished Q Follow has already made such a difference to your time on the course.
It is fantastic to hear how well it is performing at Bearwood Lakes and that it is doing exactly what you hoped it would. We also loved the detail about it fitting into the frunk of your 911, with the red brake calipers as a perfect match.
We really appreciate your honest feedback on the bag fit and battery catch too. Comments like these are incredibly valuable and will be passed on to our development team, as they help us continue to improve the user experience. If anymore issues arise with your removing your battery please don't hesitate to contact Customer Care.
It is especially pleasing to hear your kind words about our Customer Care team, accessories, and the overall quality of the trolley. Thank you again for your support and recommendation.
Thank you for taking the time to leave a review. We’re so pleased to hear that you’re enjoying the compact design of your Approved Refurbished Q Follow and the upgraded control system. It appears the one-star rating may have been selected accidentally.
I have now used the Q follow for several rounds. Easy to put up and fit the battery. Connection works quickly when everything has been turned on (school boy error first time). Good to be able to set the pace of the trolley to what you want and makes use easier. Follow works well but we have some deep drainage lines in my home course and i have had one occasion when it fell over and everything comes off. Not the trolleys fault just due to the course. I also brought the cart bag and that is amazing. Definitely recommend and the refurbs look just like a new one.
Thank you for taking the time to leave a review. We’re delighted to hear that you’ve been enjoying your Q Follow, and that you’ve found it easy to set up and use. It’s great to know that the adjustable pace and Follow function are helping make your rounds easier, and we’re especially pleased to hear how happy you are with your cart bag too.
We also appreciate your fair comments regarding the drainage lines on your course. As you mentioned, challenging terrain can occasionally catch any trolley out, but we’re glad to hear overall you're really enjoying your Approved Refurbished Q Follow, and thanks again for the recommendation.
I've had two Stewart Golf remote trolleys over the past 16 or so years, and it was time for a new one. I wasn't sure I would use the follow function but now find that's the mode I use most. If I was to give some niggles - it's quite heavy to lift into the car and the turn function using the remote is a bit 'skiddy' so using winter wheels with studs leaves small ruts in the fairway. These are very minor issues though. The manual doesn't mention there's an on/off switch on the trolley as well as on the battery - this caused some confusion first time out.😀🏌️♂️
Everything is perfect. However, it’s a bit disappointing that the speed can’t be maintained when going downhill and that the remote control doesn’t have a battery level indicator.
Thank you for taking the time to leave a review, we’re delighted to hear the Q Follow is performing perfectly for you! Regarding your comments about maintaining speed downhill, we completely understand, it’s something we’re actively working on improving. We’ll pass your feedback about the lack of a battery level indicator on the handset to our development team for future designs. In the meantime, we recommend charging your handset at the same time as your main battery to ensure you never run out of power on the course.
