Designed to lower the level of interaction between your trolley and the golf course, reducing the damage caused during wet or frosty conditions.

Stewart Golf have tested the new V3 wheel set and the results are excellent. As well as a reduced weight from the previous model we have also reduced the surface area in contact with the course. The wheels give a significant increase in traction which in turn improves steering and overall control.

Winter wheels: great addition

Have use the winter wheels over the past couple of weekends- far greater traction on the course after all the wet weather we have had. Especially noticeable going uphill and through damper areas of the course. Easy to attach. One thing to mention is that they do need to be cleaned after every game as they do pick up a lot of mud - I do this with the hose pipe in the garden when I get home.

You’re absolutely right about cleaning them too, they do pick up a lot of mud, and a quick rinse with the hose after each round is the best way to keep them performing at their best. Thanks for sharing that tip!

I have only used the winter wheels so unable to compare performance with the regular wheels. I find it he trolley does a lot of wheelies when starting on follow mode. With the course being wet I find the wheels still struggling to get traction on the grass especially if going up hill. There has been a couple of occasions when I have had to walk back to retrieve to get the trolley as wheels were just spinning. When walking on firmer ground the trolly is very jerky especially when turning with the wheels gripping and making it harder to turn. They are also hard to clean!

Winter conditions can definitely highlight differences in traction, and what you’re describing is something we occasionally see when using winter wheels with a light bag. The trolley is designed to perform best with a bit of weight in the bag, and many customers find that adding a little extra weight results in noticeably smoother starts, fewer wheelies in Follow mode, and more consistent traction, especially on wet or uphill ground.
